Worship Services & Times
The Bible is God’s Word to us. It is “God-breathed” (2 Timothy 3:16). Questions are answered for us in Scripture. The Bible is totally reliable and without error. It is just as relative to us now as when it was written. It does not change. It gives us the measuring stick by which we can distinguish true from false; and it equips us to serve God (2 Timothy 3:17). And lastly but not least, it gives us guidance and teaches us how to be saved from our sin. The Bible is a book not for merely reading; but for studying so that it can be applied to our lives.
In accordance with one of our Church Purposes --Teach, our Pastor truly believes in teaching God’s Word and he admonishes us to apply God’s Word to our lives. He provides a framework by which we can hear God speaking through His Word and make personal application to our lives. At Abiding Faith we treat Bible Study as an adventure – as God’s Word constantly unfolds on the pages of His Holy Bible, the Holy Spirit brings it to life in our daily walk.
Both adult and children’s Bible Study (Summer) are experienced on Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. Our Pastor uses this time to expound on God’s Word in a manner that is clear, precise and easily understood by listeners. He teachers with conviction, knowledge, and the Power of the Holy Spirit.
